Special Education Endorsement Programs
Walden University's College of Education offers state-approved Special Education Endorsement Programs with an optional M.S. in Education with a specialization in Special Education. For licensed teachers who want to transition into a special education classroom or bring these skills to their current teaching area, our practical, accelerated programs combine the flexibility of online learning with hands-on field experiences. In 9 to 17 months (depending on program choice and individual progress), you can enhance your skills and increase your professional opportunities by fulfilling the requirements needed to teach K-12 students with special needs.

The MS in Psychology degree with a specialization in Organizational Psychology and Development (OPD) equips students in both scholarship and practice in the approach to organizational change and the optimal utilization of people as change agents across contemporary organizational structures. Particular expertise can be developed in a variety of areas, including:

Students have the opportunity to customize their learning experience through outcomes focused on either practical application or continued research with a choice of a culminating thesis or field experience. With this approach, students can elect to develop functional skills around solving international, multi-cultural, and distance-related challenges. Likewise, students have the opportunity to expand upon the research elements of the program with the completion of the thesis, in preparation for continued studies at the doctoral level. All hours earned in the master's program may be applied to the organizational psychology and development track in the doctoral program for students who apply for and are admitted to that program upon completion of the M.S.
